Our Story

Landscapers first. Growers by heart.

Travis and Laree Liermann built Outdoors by Design as landscapers. The business grew into a tree farm of their own raising big balled and burlapped shade trees, and then into Apple Creek Propagators, the North Idaho nursery they had been buying from for fifteen years.

Today one family plans the landscape, grows the trees, plants them and keeps the property looking its best.

If it can thrive in North Idaho, it can thrive anywhere in the mountain West.

That is why we grow our own trees.
